As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, to embrace innovative technology, and to reach more families, we are moving from paper to a digital flyer delivery method using the company Peachjar, Inc.
Peachjar’s platform streamlines school-to-home communication by distributing valuable school and community resources directly to families as digital flyers. By enabling our district to go paperless, Peachjar helps us save thousands of trees each year.
No action is required on your part. Parents should have received an email from Peachjar welcoming them. Parents who have not received an email from Peachjar may register on the Peachjar website. The importance of creating an account with Peachjar is the ability to manage your accounts and e-flyer delivery preferences.
The Peachjar e-flyers will be sent directly to your inbox but may also be viewed by going to your schools' website homepage. All school e-flyers can be viewed on the district website homepage under popular links.
Be sure to add "school@peachjar.com" to your email contacts so flyers are not sent to junk or spam folders. Gmail may also send these notices into your promotions or social media subfolders. When the first e-flyer is received, be sure to click "always display images."
Duncan Public Schools wants families to know about valuable programs and resources in the community. To facilitate the delivery of this information, approved community organizations can send their flyers home to families digitally through Peachjar.
To request flyer approval, follow the steps below. Paper flyers from outside organizations will no longer be distributed.
Visit peachjar.com
Register as a Program Provider (account type).
Upload your flyer for approval.
Please upload no later than five days before your event.
Your flyer will be automatically submitted to the district office for approval. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to parents and posted on each school's web flyerboard for your selected duration of time. Peachjar charges a fee for this service that is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school.
