Proficiency-Based Promotion(PBP) is an opportunity for your child to test for advancement to the next level of study by subject or an entire grade level. Proficiency assessment will measure mastery of the Oklahoma Academic Standards (OAS) in the same way that curriculum and instruction are aligned with (OAS).
In accordance with state, law testing will be offered twice a year during the last week of July/first week of August and the last week of May/first week of June. Qualifying students are those currently enrolled in Duncan Public Schools. New students will have 30 days from enrollment to request proficiency-based testing.
All tests will be given at the Duncan Public Schools Family Education Center, 242 N. 9th St. You will choose your preferred testing time on the application below. Applications must be received 14 days prior to requesting the test date.
Please Note:
Qualifying students are those enrolled in the Duncan Public School district 70.O.S § 11-103. Oklahoma Statue [70. O.S.§ 1-114 (c)] prohibits a student from being enrolled in the first grade unless he or she has reached age six (6) on or before September 1st of each academic year.
