After completing a novel study, 4th grade got to take a trip to see The Wild Robot 🤖 Then they spent some time comparing and contrasting the novel and the movie! Thank you to The Palace for hosting us and also The Chisholm Trail Heritage Center for allowing us to use their pavilion as an outdoor classroom!

Here is the new QR code for the Book Fair

Horace Mann Family, we are so sorry for the inconvenience, but our Scholastic Book Fair QR code is incorrect. We will call the rep first thing in the morning and get it fixed. We will let you know when the correct code is posted! Thank you for your patience!

The Book Fair is here at Horace Mann!
The students can shop this week during school hours, and then we will have our family nights from 4:00 until 6:45 during parent teacher conferences.

First grade had several more students pass their red level sight words today. They also had several move on and pass their orange level sight words. Keep up the hard work fabulous first graders!

Thank you Lexie Walker and Jarrod Burk for coming to Horace Mann today. Lexie talked to the first graders about what it means to be a meteorologist. She talked about what education is required for that career. Then she taught the students about weather safety.
